Demand for our Food Pantry service, which meets the most basic of human needs is perhaps the clearest indicator of our clients’ dire economic situation. Chamber of Commerce members, area merchants, individuals and churches collect food for us at different times of the year. Grocery stores and the Goochland County Schools donate food that would otherwise be discarded and faithful volunteers deliver it to us. Other volunteers drive to the Central Virginia Food Bank (CVFB) each week to buy food to augment the donations.
For more information about the result of our services see Stats Overview.
