Safe and affordable housing can be a challenge for low-income families. Our home repair goal is to help Goochland County low-income homeowners remain safe in their homes by completing emergency repairs.
Typical home repairs include but are not limited to building handicap ramps, repairing roofs, repairing well and septic problems, and repairing unsafe holes in floors or walls
Some jobs require the services of professionals, but many projects are completed by a core group of committed volunteers who offer their time, tools and talent.
For more information about the result of our services see our Stats Overview page.
“I would like to thank you for the work done in my kitchen, the sink, floor and door. It is very much appreciated. I can really enjoy the kitchen again. Not worrying about if I’ll fall through the floor or if something would crawl from under on me. The workers did a wonderful job. Thank you,”
