Hunger Awareness Week – April 16 – 22

HUNGER HURTS. GOOCHLAND GATHERS. Goochland Hunger Awareness Week is April 16 – 22. During this week, neighborhoods, church groups, schools, civic organizations and individuals collect non-perishable items for Goochland food pantries including GFCFS. This community-wide food drive is critical for GFCFS as we serve over 1500 food-insecure Goochland residents during the year.

DONATION DROP OFF: Friday, April 21, 9am – 3pm and Saturday, April 22, 10am – 2pm.
LOCATION: vacant bank building/parking lot next to construction site, 3001 River Road West. Look for signs.

Donations may also be dropped off at collection bins located throughout the county including Essex Bank, EZ Ship and Goochland Family YMCA.

You may also contact: Terry Ebright, tebright@goochlandcares.org or 804/556-6260 to schedule another drop off time.
